<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device, an image forming method and an image forming device using the cleaning device, where a satisfactory intermediate transfer body cleaning performance can be maintained for a long period, and a satisfactory electrophotograph can be formed, as for the image forming method using the intermediate transfer body. SOLUTION: As for the cleaning device for removing residual toner on the intermediate transfer body after a toner image formed on a photoreceptor is transferred from the photoreceptor to the intermediate transfer body, the cleaning device is provided with a cleaning blade and a metallic thin plate member, and as for the cleaning blade, the surface opposite to the surface coming into contact with the intermediate transfer body is brought into tight contact with the metallic thin plate member, and a level difference is arranged between the leading edge of the cleaning blade and the leading edge of the metallic thin plate member, and the level difference is formed so that the metallic thin plate member may be positioned further away from the intermediate transfer body than the cleaning blade.</p> |
