摘要 The invention relates to an inorganic scintillator material of formula Lu<SUB>(2-y)</SUB>Y<SUB>(y-z-x)</SUB>Ce<SUB>x</SUB>M<SUB>z</SUB>Si<SUB>(1-v)</SUB>M'<SUB>v</SUB>O<SUB>5</SUB>, wherein M is a bivalent alkaline and M' is a trivalent metal, (z+v) is equal or greater than 0.0001 and equal or less than 0.2, z is equal or greater than 0 and equal or less than 0.2, v is equal or greater than 0 and equal or less than 0.2, 10x is equal or greater than 0.0001 and less than 0.1, y ranges from (x+z) to 1. In particular said material can be used for scintillation detectors in industry, medicine (scanners) and/or for oil drilling detection. The presence of Ca in crystal makes it possible to reduce a delayed luminescence and preserve a strong power for stopping high-energy rays.
