An apparatus for training and physical exercise with means which provide for a plurality of different workout options simulating human physical movements, said apparatus having a crank device connectable to feet supports for a user in order to drive the crank device, the crank device includes a pair of crank wheels of which, has each a crank arm rotationally attached, a first gear forming a sun gear which said crank wheel is surrounded, said first gear being fixedly attached to a crank device frame, and a second gear being rotationally attached to an outer radius location on the crank wheel, said crank arm at one end fixedly attached to said second gear and at the other end carrying a foot support, said first and second gear having a transmission ratio of 2:1.
