PLANE DETECTOR AND DETECTION METHOD

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately calculate a projection conversion matrix between images for detecting a plane in a short time.

SOLUTION: A rotation matrix and a translational vector between a standard camera 12 and a reference camera 14 are read from a parameter storage part 26, and the projection conversion matrix capable of superposing road plane areas contained in images taken by the standard camera 12 and the reference camera 14 is calculated by use of the rotation matrix and the translational vector.
