<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide printed matter whose genuineness can be determined with excellent genuineness judgment effect under the constitution that a plurality of arrays of microcomponents, each being formed of at least two pixels are regularly laid in a latticed pattern. <P>SOLUTION: In this printed matter whose genuineness can be determined, a printing pattern is formed on a base material and consists of a plurality of arrays of the microcomponents, each being formed of at least two pixels, regularly arranged in a latticed pattern. In addition, the printing pattern includes at least one latent image part comprising first microcomponents and a background image part comprising second microcomponents around the latent image part. Each of the microcomponents has at least two different colors and the printed matter can be obtained by differentiating the shapes of the first microcomponents and the second microcomponents from each other or differentiating the arrangement angles of the first microcomponents and the second microcomponents from each other while keeping the shapes of both micorcomponents identical. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
