PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot-water supply device capable of always supplying stable hot-water with a simple structure, and a heat exchanger using it. SOLUTION: In this hot-water supply device equipped with a water pipeline 2 for circulating water to a hot-water acceptor 1 and a heat exchanger 3 interposed in the middle of the water pipeline 2 to heat water in the water pipeline 2, the heat exchanger 3 has a water pipe 4 for heat exchange which forms a part of the water pipeline 2, and a heat source pipe 5 for heat exchange which is disposed so that its outer surface is brought into contact with the outer surface of the water pipe 4 for heat exchange and which uses a sheath heater 6 capable of being electrically heated.
