PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding seat device for a vehicle capable of reliably achieving automatic shift from folding operation of a seat back rest to jumping-up operation of a seat, and moreover, lightly performing sliding operation of the seat in a normally seated state. SOLUTION: This folding seat device is provided with a reclining/lock cooperation means releasing the lock of a turning lock mechanism LM in cooperation with the rotation when retention of the seat back rest 12 at a standing position by a reclining mechanism is released and the seat back rest 12 is rotated to the folding position side and allowing the rotation of a lower rail 30 to a jamp-up position by the rotation energizing force of a rotation support mechanism 80, and a rotation/slide cooperation means releasing the lock of a slide lock mechanism 40 in cooperation with the rotation when the lower rail 30 is rotated to the jamp-up position side by the rotation support mechanism 80 and allowing an upper rail 20 to move to a lower moving end along the lower rail 30 by its own weight.
