METHOD FOR ISOLATING CARDIAC MUSCLE PRECURSOR CELL AND DEVICE FOR ISOLATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface marker specific to cardiac muscle precursor cells, to provide a method for isolating cardiac muscle precursor cells using the surface marker, to provide a device therefor, and to provide a device for introducing cardiac muscle precursor cells into a body.

SOLUTION: This method for isolating the cardiac muscle precursor cells from a cell group containing mesodermal cells comprises a process for analyzing the expression of at least kind of protein selected from the group consisting of CD44, Flk1 and PDGFRα in a cell group containing the mesodermal cells and a process for recovering a cell or cells expressing at least one kind of protein selected from the group consisting of CD44, Flk1 and PDGFRα. A device used for the method is provide.
