PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for fixing circuit board, capable of setting the mounting direction of a sub board in an arbitrary direction, without depending on the insertion direction of the sub board. SOLUTION: The circuit board fixing device 11 is provided with a gate-type body frame 14, a lever 12, a link arm 13 and bosses 18, 19. In this case, the lever 12 and the link arm 13 are supported through bearings so that respective base ends is freely turnable in planes parallel to one side of the body frame 14 in one side of the body frame 14 by a pair of screws 16 provided at the same positions mutually whose heights from a connector substrate 6 become the same; while they are being supported through bearings under a condition that both of them are intersected mutually with screws 17 at a place whose respective distances from respective screws 16 become the same. The bosses 18 and hooks 19 are provided respectively at the vicinity of the tip ends of lever 12, and the link arm 13 at places whose distances from the screws 17 become mutually equal. The sub substrate, however, is provided with notches engaging with the through holes for inserting the bosses 18, and the hooks 19 at positions whose distances from the lower end of the sub substrate become mutually equal.
