PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for correcting wiring whereby once formed wiring can be corrected in a simple way, at low cost, and with high reliability. SOLUTION: The method for correcting the wiring formed by using a method including a process of forming a wettability varying layer 305 whose critical surface tension varies by energy application, a process of forming a pattern comprising a low surface energy part having lower critical surface tension and a high surface energy part by irradiating the wettability varying layer with ultraviolet rays through a mask 306, and a process of forming a conductive layer 303 in the high surface energy part is provided. The method includes: a process of removing an unnecessary part of the conductive layer 303; a process of heating the high surface energy part formed in the removed part and make it a low surface energy part; a process of forming a high surface energy part by newly applying energy; and a process of applying a liquid containing a conductive material on the high surface energy part.
