PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulverized coal fuel supply device capable of reducing device cost of a mill by setting capacity of the mill to proper capacity, by holding the grain size of pulverized coal to burners arranged in a plurality of stages in the combustion gas flowing direction of a furnace, in the grain size capable of restraining generation of unburnt content and NOx (nitrogen oxides), by realizing uniform combustion in the burners of the respective stages. SOLUTION: This pulverized coal fuel supply device is constituted so as to send pulverized coal into the burners, by arranging the burners in the plurality of stages in the combustion gas flowing direction of the furnace; and is characterized in that a classifying device for classifying pulverized coal into coarse powder and fine power, is arranged in a pulverized coal supply pipe connected to the downstream side burner near to an outlet of the furnace, among pulverized coal supply pipes for carrying the pulverized coal from the mill to the burners by connecting the mill and the burners of the respective stages, and a fine powder outlet of the classifying device is connected to the downstream side burner, and a coarse powder outlet of the classifying device is connected to the pulverized coal supply pipe to the upstream side burner, and the fine powder classified by the classifying device is supplied to the downstream side burner, and the coarse powder is supplied to the upstream side burner.
