PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion treatment method of emulsion, whereby combustibility can be improved and temperatures in a furnace can be cooled and controlled in order to efficiently increase ability of an existing waste liquid burning installation. SOLUTION: When applying combustion treatment to liquid containing at least water and oil by emulsifying it, the liquid is emulsified after adding water to it and supplying the emulsion to the combustion furnace as fuel, and the emulsion is burnt by controlling the temperature in the combustion furnace at 1,200-1,700°C, in this combustion treatment method.
