PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable application to fluid transmission devices of different types by a common hydraulic circuit. SOLUTION: This hydraulic pressure controller for the fluid transmission device is provided with the fluid transmission device 1 provided with a lock up clutch 13, a valve body 3 incorporating oil pressure supply circuits S2, S3 for supplying oil pressure to the fluid transmission device, and communication oil passages L1, L2 for connecting the fluid transmission device with the oil pressure supply circuits of the valve body. A conversion circuit 2 for adapting oil passage connection to the operation type of the lock up clutch is arranged in the communication oil passage, for example, a case of an oil pump.
