PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relatively simple and inexpensive exterior-wall ventilation structure of a building, which enables a good ventilation layer to be formed in an exterior wall, which enhances water-leakage prevention properties, and which is excellent in fire resistance and durability. SOLUTION: In this exterior-wall ventilation structure of the building, a spacer member 2 for forming the ventilation layer is interposed between the outer surface side of a building skeleton 1 and the side of a mortar layer 5. The spacer member 2 is composed of a lath net for ventilation, where many protrusions 21 protruding toward the outer surface side of the building skeleton 1 are press-formed and scattered all over a metal lath net-like base material 20.
