PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inexpensive polylactic acid composition decomposed in a short time. SOLUTION: The polylactic acid composition comprises a polylactic acid, a dibasic acid ester and a polyethylene oxide. Typically, the dibasic acid ester is a compound expressed by general formula (1). In the general formula (1), R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>are the same or different and expressed by general formula (2). In the general formula (2), R<SP>3</SP>expresses a 1-6C alkylene; R<SP>4</SP>expresses a 1-10C straight chain or branched alkyl; a 6-12C aryl; a 7-15C arylalkyl or a 7-15C alkylaryl; m expresses an integer of 0-8; n expresses an integer of 0-6.
