PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration type feeder capable of easily changing the exciting direction of a trough face and enhancing the article stop performance. SOLUTION: The vibration type feeder 1 conveys an article on a trough 21 by applying the exciting force in an obliquely upward direction with respect to the conveying direction A, and has a movable unit 20 having the trough 21, a frame 22 to support the trough 21 and an exciter 23 supported by the frame 22. The movable unit 20 is elastically supported by a fixing member 10. The exciter 23 has a pair of rotary shafts 23b', 23b' arranged parallel to each other, unbalanced rotors 23c, 23c mounted on the rotary shafts 23b', 23b' in a symmetrical manner to each other, and stepping motors 23b, 23b to rotate the unbalanced rotors in the opposite direction to each other while maintaining the symmetric state. The exciter 23 generates the exciting force by the rotation of the unbalanced rotors 23c, 23c, and is turnably supported by the frame 22 via a fulcrum shaft 24 orthogonal to the horizontal direction with respect to the conveying direction A.
