<p>When a secure counter error detection unit (212) detects an error of a secure counter (211), a content reproduction enabled/disabled judgment unit (206) judges whether reproduction is enabled or disabled according to the information managed by a reproduction-in-error-mode management unit (214). The reproduction-in-error-mode management unit (214) contains a reproduction-in-error-mode condition including the number of reproductions and reproduction time. When the reproduction-in-error-mode condition is satisfied, the content reproduction enabled/disabled judgment unit (206) judges that the content can be reproduced and the content is reproduced by a content reproducing unit (210).</p>
