<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device in which some or all of its exterior parts such as a back cover, etc. are made from metal without degrading (reducing) the sensitivity of an antenna in receiving specified radio wave. <P>SOLUTION: A wrist watch 1, a kind of this electronic device, is the radio-controlled watch equipped with the antenna 32 for receiving standard frequency transmission and a watch module 21. These watch module 21, antenna 32, etc. are located within its chassis comprising a watch case 11 made from metals such as stainless steel and titanium, a back cover 23 and the like. Additionally magnetic sheets 40a, 40b, magnetic members formed by such a magnetic material as amorphous, are respectively adhered to each inner face of both the watch case 11 and the back cover 23 (especially internal surface of the watch case 11). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
