<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive photosensitive lithographic printing plate which can be exposed by laser beam scanning, has high sensitivity and good storage stability, ensures excellent solubility of the exposed portion of a photosensitive layer in development, can develop a clear image, and excels in printing durability and chemical resistance, and to provide a method of producing the same and a method for forming a positive image using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The positive photosensitive lithographic printing plate has a photosensitive layer containing a photothermal conversion material having an absorption region within a wavelength range of 600-1,300 nm and an alkali-soluble resin, wherein the photosensitive layer is a laminate consisting of a plurality of layers and is configured such that the dissolution rate of the photosensitive layer in an alkali developer in the unexposed state continuously increases from the upper surface part of the photosensitive layer to the lower part of the photosensitive layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
