PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolytic capacitor equipped with metal foil which is easy to carry out resistance welding, when several sheets are laminated. SOLUTION: A solid electrolytic capacitor 1 is constituted, such that a capacitive element 2 is formed, by laminating two or more sheets of metallic foils 20 equipped with an anode part 2a and a cathode part 2b. Further, the anode part 2a of each metal foil 20 is jointed to an anode plate side lead frame 9. A notch 4 is formed in each anode part 2a. For at least two sheets of the metal foils 20 and 20, one side of the anode part 2a is located in the notch 4 of another side, and the jointing part to an anode part side lead frame 9 of both anode parts 2a and 2a is shifted mutually.
