摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL device superior in transparency and durability, low in drive voltage, and having no cross talk due to leak current and having high emission luminance, and a substrate for organic EL element by which such an organic EL element can be obtained efficiently. SOLUTION: This is the substrate for the organic electroluminescent element in which an electrode for driving an organic electroluminescent layer, a transparent conductive film containing indium oxide, a metal thin wire, and a film layer of a metal oxide are laminated on a substrate in this order. The organic EL element is manufactured by using the substrate for the organic electroluminescent element in which the film layer of the metal oxide has a work function larger than 5.6 eV and a specific resistance of 10E+4Ωcm or more.
