PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the operation of inserting a threading hook to a thread hole of a needle and the operation of laying the thread on the threading hook inserted into the thread hole of the needle independently in the treading operation. SOLUTION: The needle threading device comprises a rotation shaft 21 crossing the feeding direction of a fabric, disposed on a machine frame, a threading member 52 fixed to the rotation shaft 21 via a threading device mounting base 40 to be oscillated according to the rotation of the rotation shaft 21, the threading hook 55 fixed to the threading member 52 for threading a needle with a thread through a thread hole, a positioning means 57 for matching the locus of oscillation of the threading hook 55 to the thread hole of the needle by the oscillation of the threading member 52, and a holder means 59 for holding the threading hook 55 in a state inserted into the thread hole of the needle when threading, or at an evacuation position when not threading.
