A handle bar locking assembly for rigidly fixing a handle bar grip to a handle bar, the locking assembly engaging with the inside diameter of the handle bar by means of laterally or radially spreading wedge member(s) that are displaced radially outwardly upon the turning of a drive element. The drive element axially displaces a locking member having a surface that engages with a surface of the wedge member(s) to cause the radial displacement. |
