<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve improvement in compacting a detecting constitution, to realize improvement in detecting precision and to reduce electrostatic influence to an endless belt surface. <P>SOLUTION: A marker is formed on a periphery surface of a tip part of a rotating shaft 23a of an entrance roller 23 supporting an intermediate transfer belt 11 along with a driving roller 21, the tip part is contained in a bearing 24c of a sensor holder 24 attached to one side surface of a frame 14 of a transfer belt unit, alignment for a reflecting type sensor fixed in the sensor holder 24 and a reflecting type marker is carried out and toner and powder dust are prevented from entering by enclosing the detecting portion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
