PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize a torque sensor of a steering device. SOLUTION: The steering device is constituted of first and second shafts 2 and 3 and a torsion bar 4 connected between the first and second shafts. The torque sensor comprises magnet body 5 in which a plurality of rod-like magnets are centered on the torsion bar in such a ring form as to surround the torsion bar and be fixed to one of the first and the second shaft; a pair of magnetic yokes 6 arranged in such a way as to be on both sides of the magnet body at prescribed intervals from axial directions and fixed to the other of the first and second shafts; a pair of flux concentrating rings 10 and 11 arranged on the outer circumferential side of the pair of magnetic yokes at a prescribed interval in an axial direction; and a magnetic sensor 7 arranged in the interval between the flux concentrating rings.
