PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet irradiation device in which head sections having different driving powers are connectable to one controller section. SOLUTION: The ultraviolet irradiation device is equipped with not less than one head section 120 having not less than one semiconductor device 150 which radiates ultraviolet rays as a source of ultraviolet rays, controller section 110 having power source section 112 which supplies electric power for driving to semiconductor device 150 and cable section 130 having an electric signal line for electrically connecting head section 120 with controller section 110. The controller section is equipped with electric power switching section 111 which supplies a right driving power to each of the head sections having different power source sections so that the head sections having different driving powers are connectable.
