<p>There is provided an ophthalmologic instrument which assists an inspector to perform inspection while easily viewing the observation image of an eye of an examinee displayed on a monitor even when the inspector must raise the eyelid of the examinee. The ophthalmologic instrument comprises a measuring section equipped with a measuring optical system for inspecting or measuring the eye of the examinee, a fixed support section for movably supporting the measuring section, an observation optical system provided at the measuring section and having an imaging element for observing the anterior part of eye of the examinee, a monitor for displaying the image of the anterior part of eye imaged by the imaging element, and a holding unit for holding the monitor movably with respect to the measuring section or the supporting section so that the arranging position of the monitor can be changed between a first position where the screen is substantially vertical and a second position where the screen is substantially horizontal.</p> |
