POWDER OF CITRUS FRUIT, AND DRYING METHOD OF CITRUS FRUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dry squeeze slag of citrus fruits to a given moisture content in a short time allowing solar drying and with a small drying area, and to reuse dried matter.

SOLUTION: By this drying method of citrus fruits, the squeeze slag after squeezing citrus fruit juice is boiled in a solution prepared by dissolving, for example, 500mg sodium carbonate and 300mg sodium chloride in 1 litter of water, then dried. The squeeze marc thus dried is powdered to be used.
