<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latch device for a door opening/closing handle, allowing easy and quick lock exchanging work as required. <P>SOLUTION: A stopper bracket 14 is tightened and fastened to a back wall portion of a fixed body 1 of the latch device with a machine screw 15. A washer body 17 is fitted to a shaft hole 16 of the stopper bracket 14 in a rotatable and axially non-movable manner. A stopper 11 is integrally connected to the washer body 17 on the front face side of the stopper bracket 14. A rotating inner cylinder 9 is fitted at its front end 10 into an open hole 18 of the stopper 11 and a receiving hole 19 of the washer body 17 in a relatively non-rotatable manner.
