PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce influence on a building main body by simultaneously isolating the building main body from horizontal shake and vertical shake without changing the configuration of a wooden building by causing a buffer device and a steel plate installed on the lower part of a base timber to make a sliding supporting action to absorb the vertical shake. SOLUTION: Spherical free movement units 5 and 8 are installed in the lower part of the base timber of the wooden building, a circular cylindrical space is formed within concrete foundation and a spring bolt 3 is installed in the center of the foundation to connect the units 5 and 8 above it. The bolt 3 is covered with a flanged coated steel pipe 10. The upper stage and the lower stage of the coated steel pipe 10 are each provided with an arch-shaped corrugated steel plate 11, and at the time of a shake, movement of 360°in a plane is allowed. An air compression spring 12 is installed under the coated steel pipe 10, and the vertical shake of an earthquake is attenuated in cooperation with the buffer device 13 using a used automobile-tire installed on the top face of the concrete foundation.
