The ignition lock comprises a switch element (4, 5) and actuation element (3) impinging on the switch element to produce a signal when in the actuation position. The switch element is in the form of a sliding contact comprising a contact surface (10, 10') on a support (12), and a sliding element (11, 11') actively connected to the actuation element so that it touches the contact surface when in the actuation position.
