<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data storage device which is convenient and capable of further improving security in more general/versatile configuration. <P>SOLUTION: A PC 10 includes a signature generation part 11 and an IC card reading part 12. An MO device 20 comprises a tamper-free clock 21. An IC card 30 stores a signature key 31 in a built-in ROM. The IC card 30 is carried with a proper user basically. When storing data in an MO 22, the signature generation part 11 generates a signature (authenticator) from data, time information of the tamper-free clock 21 and the signature key 31, the data and the time information are written in a user region 22a and the signature is written in a write-once region 22b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
