<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid composition which shows high shelf stability during preservation and can form an ink acceptance layer featuring the excellent fixability of a coloring agent and high water/injury resistance, and a recording medium with an ink acceptance layer formed of the liquid composition. <P>SOLUTION: This liquid composition is used for forming the ink acceptance layer, and contains a urethane dispersion of the structure that a carboxylic group is neutralized by an alkali, a resin with a hydroxyl and a crosslinking agent which can crosslink the hydroxyl group. The resin with the hydroxyl to be used is preferably composed mainly of a resin containing polyvinyl alcohol and the crosslinking agent to be used which can crosslink the hydroxyl group is preferably a zirconium organic acid salt. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
