ME-5, ME-2 AND EPP2: HUMAN PROTEIN ANTIGEN REACTING WITH AUTOANTIBODY PRESENT IN SERUM OF WOMAN SUFFERING FROM ENDOMETRIOSIS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide tools for specifically diagnosing endometriosis.

SOLUTION: Three human endometrium antigens: ME-5, ME-2 and EPP2 and a combination thereof are used as targets of antibodies present in the serum of women suffering from endometriosis and these protein products and human antibodies reactive with these protein products are used as tools for diagnostic assays diagnosing patients suffering from endometriosis.
