PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sorting facility capable of preventing influence of a specific worker (working delay and working stagnation) from affecting the whole work speed and improving sorting efficiency. SOLUTION: The sorting facility is constituted such that when picking work is completed at one block B in a zone Z, an empty block B in the zone Z is determined and the number of the following block B is instructed on a passage completion display unit 21. According to the constitution, it is possible to execute the picking work skipping (overtakes) a preceding worker executing the picking work on a downstream side of a working passage i. The influence of the preceding worker can be minimized and efficiency of the picking work can be improved.
