PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which can manufacture a large-size component comprising a laminated product of a thermoplastic plastic surface material and a structural material and has the improvement of decorative surface quality and the improvement of the laminated product, and to provide a molded product. SOLUTION: This mold comprises a closed and air-impervious first mold surface 22 for shaping the surface material and an air-permeable liner 24 which is located facing the mold. The liner is adapted such that upon applying in-mold vacuum pressure to the liner, the surface material 26 contacts the second mold surface and conforms to the shape of the mold.
