A test device includes: a bus switch unit capable of switching between output ports for outputting the input signal; a control unit for inputting a plurality of control signals corresponding to the test program to the bus switch unit and controlling from which output port the control signal is outputted; a plurality of slots for mounting a test module for generating an input signal to an electronic device according to the control signal and receiving an output signal outputted from the electronic device; and a device interface capable of switching connections between the slots and connectors. Diagnosis signals received from the slots mounted on the test modules for diagnosis are successively supplied to the respective test modules via the respective connectors. The test module to which the diagnosis signal is supplied via each of the connectors is detected and the connector to witch each of the output ports is connected is detected.
