Method and device for modular multiplication

The multiplication method has the multiplicator (M) processed for providing multiplication shift values and a module (N) used for providing reduction shift values, both sets of values processed by a device (16) receiving the mutiplicand (C), the module and an intermediate result (Z) obtained from a previous iteration step, for supplying operands (17) fed to a multi-operand adder (18), providing an actualised intermediate result (Z'). An independent claim for a modular multiplication device is also included.
