The condenser has a sub-cooling path with a condensation portion arranged below it. The insert (1) has a rise tube, a separating wall between the sub-cooling path and the condensation portion, and a dryer filter unit. The riser tube is formed as a carrying member on which the separating wall and the dryer filter unit are disposed. An independent claim is included for a condenser.
