<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily and naturally realize retrieval processing like an operator answering retrieval apparatus when a retrieval word that a user vocally inputs is retrieved from a retrieval database and determined no matter how large-scale an object to be retrieved is. <P>SOLUTION: Provided are a partial matching retrieval word candidate extracting means of extracting a partially matching retrieval word candidate from the retrieval database even when the recognition likelihood of only a single noun among a plurality of single nouns constituting the retrieval word that the user vocally inputs exceeds a specified threshold, a rerecognizing means of performing speech recognition of the extracted partially matching retrieval word candidate and rerecognizing the inputted voice by single nouns constituting the retrieved partially matching retrieval word candidate, and a total likelihood arithmetic means of computing total likelihood by computing the recognition likelihood of the result of rerecognition by the rerecognizing means by a specified computing method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
