PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air type therapeutic apparatus reducing the weight at a low cost. SOLUTION: This air type therapeutic apparatus is provided with a pair of guide rods 11 vertically extending in a seat back 2, the guide rods 11 are mounted with a therapeutic unit 8 moving vertically, and the therapeutic unit 8 is assembled with a pair of air bags 20 and therapeutic elements 23 for massaging the back of a person supported to the seat back 2, an air pump 18 and air tubes 19 for supplying and exhausting an air to/from the pair of air bags 20, and rollers 14 and motors 16R and 16L moving the therapeutic unit 8 in the axial direction of the guide rods 11.
