PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording head and an image recording apparatus, which can perform image recording processing at high speed, while decreasing a driving current value and reducing an effect brought by a difference in wiring resistance between respective units composed of a drive element and a driver. SOLUTION: In the recording head 15, nozzles 24A for ejecting ink are arranged with a pitch corresponding to a resolution, and a plurality of heaters 40A for ejecting the ink from the respective nozzles 24A in such a manner as to correspond to the respective nozzles 24A are arranged with a pitch Ph corresponding to the resolution. The recording head 15 is provided with a plurality of driver transistors 42A which have a voltage buffer area 52 for lessening a hindrance caused by a high voltage, which are unitized by being each serially connected with the respective heaters 40A in a one-to-one manner, which are arranged with a pitch Pd set larger at least by the voltage buffer area 52 than the pitch of the heaters 40A, and which drive the respective heaters 40A.
