PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the whole width of a vehicle body supporting device while securing a space adjusting stroke of support members in the vehicle body supporting device capable of adjusting a space between the right and left support members provided at a conveyor to support a vehicle body frame. SOLUTION: A sliding member 79 connected to the support member 80 is slidably engaged with a guide member 75 moved by a conveyor, to adjust the space between the right and left support members 80 provided at the conveyor to support the vehicle body frame from both right and left side faces. The sliding member 79 is provided with a plurality of first positioning holes 79a with which a first positioning bolt 85 provided at the guide member 75 can be engaged, and the guide member 75 is provided with a plurality of second positioning holes 75a with which a second positioning bolt 89 provided at the sliding member 79 can be engaged. The moving range of the sliding member 79 where the first positioning bolt 85 can be engaged with one of the first positioning holes 79a, and the moving range of the sliding member 79 where the second positioning bolt 89 can be engaged with one of the second positioning holes 75a, are made different from each other.
