PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polygonal section faithful to the target shape when extruding a long coated body having a polygonal section. SOLUTION: An extrusion die 1 extrudes a long coated body so that the sectional shape of the coated body is polygon. The shape of a hole 2 of the extrusion die 1 has polygonal apexes P and sides L to connect the adjacent apexes P to each other, and the sides to connect the adjacent apexes P are curved inwardly. In particular, the expressions 0.100≤T/W≤0.228 are satisfied, wherein T is the depth of the curvature in the shape of the hole 2, and W is the distance between the adjacent apexes P.
