The bracket has a housing with a base plate and a pivoting cover plate with a support surface (18) which is open between the base (12) and cover plate (16). Two locks (20,24) selectively connect the support surface to the base plate (12). A connector (26) is provided to actuate the locks when the bracket moves from the base position to the intermediate position.
