PURPOSE:To provide the method for producing the bisphenol A, improving the yield of the bisphenol A and prolonging the life of a catalyst, when the bisphenol A is continuously produced with the cation exchange catalyst. CONSTITUTION:This method for continuously producing the bisphenol A with a multi-stage reactor filled with a cation exchange resin catalyst by using a new or regenerated cation exchange resin for the reaction instead of the catalyst proceeded in the deterioration of the catalytic activity is characterized by disposing a reactor filled with the new or regenerated cation exchange resin at the rear stage of the reaction system. |
