PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a fan duct of a fan forced heater capable of uniformly blowing out warm air while reducing its speed from an air blowout opening. SOLUTION: The fan duct 8 for connecting an air blowout opening 7 of a front face of a frame body, and an air suction opening 6 of a back face of the frame body, is formed in the frame body 1, and a combustion chamber 5 mounted at an upper portion of a burner 2 is opened in the fan duct 8. The air blowout opening 7 has an area larger than the air suction opening 6, an upper end position of the air blowout opening 7 is higher than an upper end position of the air suction opening 6, and a heat shield top plate 12 inclined upward at its front portion 12a, is mounted on a position lower than an upper end of the air suction opening 6 in the fan duct 8. The wind of an air blower for convective flow 9 is divided into upper and lower flows by the heat shield top plate 12, the air flowing at a lower portion exchanges the heat with the combustion chamber 5 and blown out from a lower louver 10, and the wind flowing at an upper portion is discharged from the combustion chamber 5, mixed with a combustion gas flowing at an upper portion of a clearance 13 between a front edge 12b of the heat shield top plate 12 and the louver 10, dispersed toward the air blowout opening 7 of a wide area, and blown out from the louver 10 as the uniform warm air reduced in its wind speed.
