A modular system facilitates alignment of a simulation laser (20) with the sights 14a, b of a weapon W. The modular assembly can be attached to the barrel of a weapon W. A user can first align a target (50) relative to the sights 14a, b of the weapon W. The laser 20 can then be aligned with the target (50). The arrangement comprises several lenses and mirrors are included, and a visual indicium is visible to the user and can be manually moved to a selected location. Also included is a modular boresight device 30 and methods of operating arrangements. Other elements include gun stock S, boresight device mounting brackets 30-2, 30-4, mounting tube 30-3 and barrel B. Joystick (46) and camera (34) may also be included. |
