<p>The steering wheel rim (2) which is connected rotationally secured to the connecting hub (4) through spokes (7) is supported by the spokes on the center part (3) of the steering wheel unit at least in a direction running from the rim to the hub. In their supporting area the spokes are mounted rotatable on the center part. The center part has a bearing support (19) which is rotationally secured per se but on which the spokes are rotatably mounted.</p>
