HYDROPHILIC COLLOIDAL PARTICLE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrophilic colloidal particle which can fix or release a substance exhibiting various functions by reversible interactions and can be used without deterioration in dispersion stability in a solution even when morphology in the particle changes by the fixation or release, and to provide a method for producing the particle. SOLUTION: The hydrophilic colloidal particle comprises a hydrophobic core part and a shell layer comprising doubly hydrophilic polymer chain having a polymer segment having amino group containing structural units and a polymer segment having nonionic hydrophilic structural units. The hydrophilic colloidal particle can exhibit self-organizing capability of the hydrophilic colloidal particle to a maximum level and can stably hold a colloid disregarding whether a functional substance is in a fixed state or released state because the polymer segment having nonionic hydrophilic structural units which control a distribution stability factor and the hydrophobic core part exist independent of the polymer segment having amino group containing structural units which interact with the functional substance.
